Jayne Crowley Reference Sheet
INTRO
Sex: male.
Race: human.
Age: 26 years old. He looks a few years older though.
REFERENCES
Ref 1: that's the image I've been using as reference since I started playing him.
I'll add references for possible outfits and body shape later but I don't think I'll add others for his face.
I'm open to change, which is why I'll give less information than on Ningyo's character sheet for instance.
BODY
Height: 190 cm = 6'3". It seems quite tall, but in the world he comes from, the average height is between 180 and 195 cm.

Ningyo Kanpa Reference Sheet
INTRO
Sex: female.
Race: human.
Age: 20 years old minus a few weeks. People usually think she's a little younger because of the ways she dresses and behaves.
REFERENCES
Ref. 1: the girl in the middle (obviously). That's how she looked when she was 16 years old so of course she's changed a little since then.
Ref. 2: a drawing Anikakinka made especially for me to thank me for helping her with a translation. I'm very fond of this drawing, yet I find her eyes to be too small and her smile too "neutral": when Ningyo smiles, one can feel her enthousiasm and energy.
Ref.3: two outfits I made using xSheepi's flash dress-up game, the one on the left
To you that I don't know by Alien-mode, literature

To you that I don't know
To you that I don't know,
I give all my strength,
my smiles and my memories,
my fears and my pain.
To you that I don't know,
I give my consent :
hurt me and love me,
play with me and pay.
To you that I don't know,
a piece of advice :
don't be just like him,
care for me, be nice.
To you that I don't know,
I give all I have.
Leave me nothing to lose,
and nowhere to hide.
To you that I don't know,
of course, I promise
things will be different,
it will be all right.
To you that I don't know,
I walk full of hope
but I just can't forget
the pretty chains I wore.

Addictive : Quelque chose...

Once again, I don't want to get into world-building questions that will help you fill in the gaps, but merely provide an overview of the major things you need to take into account when creating a race or a culture. We can start off with the difference between the two. A race is defined by physical characteristics: skin color, hair color, and so on. Culture is defined by the characteristics of values and practices. If you

World-building, for me, is one of the biggest things about fantasy. It has, in many cases, saved a book from sucking. Conversely, poor world-building can drag a brilliant plot and excellent characterization down. What is world-building? It is consistency of logic and the new rules that you introduce as part of the story. Easy to say, hard to do. World-building, in good fantasy, more often than not, provides som

I haven't drawn or written anything in a while, but I keep roleplaying on play-by-post boards and making designs for my own phpBB3 board. Maybe I'll upload something else someday, like a character sheet or a short story focusing on one of my RP characters. I don't think anyone would care, but since I don't have a blog anymore, dA seems to be the right place for that kind of thing.
We'll see... In the meantime, happy new year to all of you!
See you around
This journal is completely useless but when I saw the avatar dA gave me I felt I had to write something:
I'M TEAM JACOB BIATCH!
Come on, before they put an Edward on my face (well, sort of oddly-drawn otter face) they could have asked what team I was! And for the record, I'm more of an "anti-Ed" than a "pro-Jake", really. At least it's not Gaga, but... I want the Team Seeker avatar!
I decided to delete most of my texts, photos, drawings and journals cause I didn't like / want them anymore. I'm not sure I'll ever be submitting anything else to Deviant Art - we'll see. Anyway, you still have to take a look at the following galleries :
